The 5 Mile Loop Hike

Lace up your hiking shoes and take on Peter Island's iconic 5-mile loop trail, a rewarding challenge that crowns you with some of the most panoramic views in the British Virgin Islands. The well-maintained path, paved and gravel throughout, winds steeply upward to Sunset Loop at the island's crest, where the horizon opens up in every direction.

Incremental lookout points punctuate the climb, each offering a new perspective over the island's turquoise bays and lush ridgelines. Water stations are spaced along the route to keep you refreshed as you make your way up and around.

Sturdy, closed-toe footwear is recommended for the steep incline, and as you make your way back down, don't forget — we drive on the left!
