Peter Island Resort in the British Virgin Islands was ranked the #2 resort of the Top 15 Caribbean Resorts on Conde Nast Traveler's 2005 Reader's Choice Top 100 Best in the World list. The award was published in the November 2005 issue.


Peter Island was ranked #1 in the Conde Nast 2005 Gold List "The Best in Activities" — The America's Caribbean category. The award was published in the January 2005 issue.


The British Virgin Island hotel was named the "2004 Grand Award Winner" for the Caribbean/Bahamas in Andrew Harper's Hideaway of the Year competition.


The prestigious Travel + Leisure 2004 WORLD'S BEST AWARDS included Peter Island Resort and also listed it in the World's Best of The Caribbean, Bermuda, and Bahamas Hotel category.


Conde Nast named Peter Island one of the World's Best Places to Stay in the 2004 Gold List. "This resort is the highlight of the British Virgin Islands. Staff make you feel you've got the whole place to yourself." Tradewinds serves fusion dishes such as rum-basted satays, and Deadman's Beach Bar & Grill is for casual dining on the sand.


Conde Nast voted Peter Island as the # 2 resort in the Caribbean and # 50 worldwide.


Forbes Magazine included Peter Island as one of the "Best Destinations Worldwide of 2003". The resort was also featured as a "Destination of the Week" by Forbes.


Peter Island was listed as the #9 Caribbean resort of 20 in Departures May/June 2003 "Readers' Survey" issue. Departures has a circulation of 655,000 and is a luxury lifestyle magazine published for American Express Platinum card holders.


The Conde Nast Traveler July 2003 issue featured Peter Island of the British Virgin Islands on the front cover of the magazine and in the article "The Right Beach".
